2012 XF steering wheel controls

Hello, bit of an odd issue here. The 2012 xf in the family has decided that turning left on warm/hot days is a good time to activate voice controls or change the radio mode. Has anyone ran into this before?

Not in my jaguar, but my saab, it was the clock spring behind the steering wheel
