The 3.0 SC engine failed again after only 70,000KM despite detailed maintenance, oil changes ever 8,000KM full service etc
this is my second engine both dying around 70-80,k km. The 3.0 is the worst engine ive ever encountered and Jag knows this. Between catastrophic failure, cheap plastic water hoses and the timing chain tensioners; its a bomb waiting to happen. Jag should have stayed with the amazing 4.2. Ive had 3 Jags in the last ten years…… there will not be a fourth. Shame Jaguar shame.

im going to sell it as a parts car… I just cant go down the v6 road again -I've lost faith in that horrible engine. It sad because the car is mint everywhere but the engine.
