I hope this can help. I recently came across this issue that there is no positive jump post on the Jaguar XF 2013, it’s very easy, jack up the car and connect your positive cable to the starter motor positive. be very careful you do not ground out on the engine the starter or body as you are connecting the positive!!! and simply connect the negative to the transmission or any solid ground. then simply connect the jumper cables to any running vehicles if like me you are using the genius jump pack and the battery is superflat the genius jump pack will not activate you must press and hold the! Button this is the safety bypass button for three seconds the jump pack will activate the alarm on the car I will sound this means you now have power to your vehicle pop the trunk charge change or whatever you want to do with your battery best of luck I hope this helps I have never put posted to a forum before Best of luck I hope this helps someone.

 

You could also just use the emergency key from your FOB and pop up the trunk and then jump start from there, or am I missing somthing?
