My front driveshaft/propshaft joints are failing and making really loud humming noises especially around 60mph. It's the shaft between the transfer case and front differential. Has anyone replaced this before? If so, how much labor was it? I don't have topix so am trying to find a procedure of how much work it is to decide if I try it or take it to the shop. Also, I saw there's an aftermarket one made by Dorman which makes me think these must fail a decent amount since there's very few other aftermarket parts for the AWD drivetrain. Has anyone used that driveshaft, or did you just use the jag one?
