Default Accessory Switch Ideas Needed

Hey guys and gals,

I am looking for some ideas on the best place to add an accessory switch on my 2011 XFR (Left Hand Drive). It needs to be somewhere that is easily accessible while driving without taking eyes off the road, but I also don't want it somewhere too visible and it definitely can't be accidentally activated. (It will control my emergency lights, so it would really suck to have them on accidentally.)

I was thinking about in the rear of the driver's door storage compartment, but I can't find a spring-hinged box that will fit in there to cover the switch. Hopefully, some of you have already played with finding the best location.

Thanks!

I would install it inside the front center console compartment (the one in front of the cup holder space). Maybe sacrifice the front 12v socket if needing the room and wiring path (still have one in the large center arm rest).

That little compartment is almost too small for storage anyway and when the lid is shut, all is hidden.

That's a pretty good idea. I use that compartment for my phone right now, but I may be able to make something to replace the 12v outlet with a switch.

Anyone have other ideas? I would love to hear them.

Thank you, but that would be too much of a reach/distraction while potentially having to drive aggressively.
