Question Aero Kit and Side Sills

Does anybody know if you can add the side sills from the XFR to the XF Supercharged. I really like the looks of the side sills. Maybe a suggestion on where you can get them???I think they would give the car a lower profile.. IMHO

Pictures would be great. I'm not sure what the aero kit looks like - I have the basic XF. I did add the mud flaps and like the silhouette from the rear. Makes the XF look wider.

There are some very, very basic pictures of the aero kit available. Jaguar actually did a terrible job photographing them. Here's the front end, lower grilles, and lower mouldings... when it finishes downloading (135MB TIFF file), I will upload a pic of the side sills and rear spoiler.

Honestly, to me, it doesn't look like much of an upgrade over stock. The XFR is way more aggressive looking. But this could totally be a product of the embarassingly bad photography.

I agree with dan, those pics suck, and yes the r is more agressive looking. But when i was installing the kits, i personally wanted to leave of the chrome vane splitters in the lower grill openings. That would be a big improvement

Here's the side sill photo..

Kinda frustrating with how bad the photos are. It's tough to sell things like this without really good photos. I'd buy a set to put on display, but that would still cost me thousands in paint, labor, etc.

As soon as the weather breaks, I think I will be investing in a little body upgrade. I think the side sills would really accent the sides and bring out the curves in the body alittle more. Maybe a a small front chin air dam. I'm not totally trying to copy the R. Just a little bling to the looks... I like to be a little unique. I would like to see better pic's if possible.

Dan, thats what we did when the XF first came out. And to show case the Areo kit, the first 1 was the purple color. Dont ask me the Jaguar name, but it looked really good(not everyones cup of tea) and its the only 1 Ive seen in that color. It was bought right away and the customer to let us keep it a couple more weeks on the showroom before they delivered it

Where or how can I get the chrome lower grill inserts for the bumper cover? Those appear to be matched to the hood (Jag OEM). Been looking for a matching set for the XFR, but I would need them to be w/o the vanes. I really want the lower grills to match the hood grill as opposed to an aftermarket type (Mina Gallery, etc).

Any info provided would be appreciated.

you can surely think of purchasing them from autozone. however according to my experience, compatibility can be an issue.
