Default anyone paint the chrome grill black?

Just seeing if anyone on here painted the plasic chrome grill, seams cheaper than getting the mina black pack grill (also prob would not have to pull the whole bumper off to do it

I have. It's pretty easy and can be done without taking the grill off. Just prime with spray primer and then gloss black. Just be sure to carefully tape everything up like the center emblem.

I think a couple of people have used that plastidip to de-chrome their whole car. You may want to check out the thread on that. Doesn't look bad if you don't care for the chrome.

not a fan of plasti dip other than a quick how would it look black option until I went with paint. Plasti dip has a flat black look that does not lend itself to the ebony jag

Plastidip has a separate glossifier that you don't know about that gives it shine like clear coat.
