B & W Yellow Kevlar Woofers

Yea my 09 NA Premium has the bowers system and it has the yellow woofers. A friend of mine noticed them the other day and thought they were sweet. I personally like them because they are hidden out of the way but unique. Sorry to rub it in but if you really want I would trade cars. I would make that sacrifice haha.

The Bowers & Wilkins system uses yellow Kevlar cone drivers for all woofers and full range speakers, including one in all 4 doors and the center dashboard and two on the package shelf. These are not always easy to see, but shine a flashlight through the outer grill and you can see them easily. For 2012 the Supercharged model no longer comes with this standard, instead it has a very good "Jaguar" system with subwoofer and black drivers and the B & W system is optional. The R model still comes with B & W standard. Note that tweeters and midrange drivers in the doors do not show yellow through the grills. If you truly do have an R without the B & W drivers it is possible that an idiot former owner or test driver "blew" the originals and they were replaced with the (same exact size) standard system drivers.

When I got the car it only had 6mi on it, some of the woofers are yellow. I shined the light in and they are woven Kevlar...but black? When I get it back from dealer will question this. Thanks for the input. And no I will not trade you because of woofer issue. Haha. It's still B&W and the most amazing system I have ever heard:-)

Part Numbers....
Does anyone know the actual Jaguar part numbers for the B&W yellow kevlar woofers to fit a '12 XFR?
I just shined a light in my XFR's door speaker grills and did not see anything resembling yellow. I know that the dealer had replaced some speakers, so my assumption is that the wrong ones were installed.
Is there any place to confirm the part numbers on all the speakers in a 2012 XFR? Come to think of it, my dealer has swapped out other speakers and I need to make certain that the correct parts were put in for all.

Black Speakers in '12 XFR - Missing the Yellow?
My '12 XFR has the black speakers and the dealer says it is the correct ones for the car.
They say that there were yellow ones in the model until the VIN break of: S20752. From that VIN forward, the speakers were all black. Does this sound right? One of the previous contributors to this thread mentions that all Rs should have the B&W yellow speakers.
