Okay so my key fob is dead the door is open there's no lights there's no electric I can't get to the trunk because I can't get the seats folded down to test my battery can someone please tell me what to do I can't even get the owner's manual out of my glove box I have a Jaguar xfr 2010 and I have no idea what to do

 

You have a manual key lock under the chrome trim on the boot, sometimes has a plastic cover that you need to remove. The emergency key in inside the fob! Give the key & slot a few sprays of wd40 first!

 

Are you aware of the key that is attached to the keyfob ? You can open the trunk with that. There is a black plastic cover "hiding" the keyhole. Is this what you were asking ?
