Default Best 1 piece metal coolant hose option for 3.0 sc

Hello. I apologize, but I am not super tech savvy and had trouble searching from my phone for similar threads. Can you advise which metal coolant hoses would be best for my xe 35t 3.0 sc? I see so many on the market, but most are 2 piece designs. Which do you suggest? Also, is getting to the lower hoses just time consuming, or could I screw something up?

Hi
It's been posted on here previously but these are the metal coolant hoses you can upgrade too.

The rear heater 2 piece metal hose (with screws) is now available as a single cast metal version.

There is also now Metal Thermostat housing available as well

What a very good question!

I would check the part number for the XE 35i 3.0SC and confirm it is the same as the XF/XJ/LR etc AJ123S engines.

Indeed the two part plastic manifolds do come apart, leak overtime.

The Alloy manifolds are stronger, but are prone to QA issues, in having internal restrictions. So well worth checking thoroughly internally.

As an example.

internal pipe restriction on a 13mm bore outlet off the rear manifold.

Close up of the internal of the Outlet port from the rear header. (two part manifold.)

Not entirely sure what you mean by lower hoses. But all leakages and the potential causes of leakages should be tackled to avoid risk and the consequences of coolant loss and overheating.
