CD player makes intermittent scratching sounds as soon as door opens! Very loud too. Eject and Load have no effect. Eventually the disc error msg comes up and peace descends. Nothing can be played on the CD. Nothing can be inserted as stacker is full anyhow. I am wondering if it can be an electronic issue rather than simply a mechanical issue. Perhaps both. Sounds expensive and auto/audio places shy off Jags and say that they dont fix anything anymore but just install new systems ....etc.
Guess entire consul has to be removed? Anyone had similar or know of smilar?
