Chrome side vent installation procedures
I bought my chrome side vents from here for $210. Quick delivery, packaged well, OEM.

Here's how I went about removal of the old and installation of the new. I had heard and read that you just "rip off" the old ones. Not my style, so this may be an overly cautious approach for some. But when I was done, I didn't have a single scratch.
Pic 1: I used some non-skid tape I had to put under the original chrome Jaguar emblem attached to the original claret colored side vent.
Pic 2: I put masking tape between the existing side vent and the fender. I used a hard plastic putty knife to help make a gap to insert the tape into.
Pic 3: Once I had the tape in place I inserted pieces of zip tie between the side vent and the fender to put pressure on the fasteners holding the side vent to the fender and to make a gap where I could insert two hard plastic putty knives. The pressure caused the fasteners popped free in the rear of the vent and literally break in the front of the vent (see pic 7). I continued around the vent until all of the plastic fasteners had broken free.
Pic 4: The fender free of the side vent shows where the slots are located. This might help show you where to pry if you are considering doing this yourself.
Pic 5: Tape removed and cleaned in prep for installation of new, chrome in my case, side vents.
Pic 6: Original side vent still intact, but as you can see from pic 7, the plastic fasteners in the rear are still there, but the ones in the front are completely broken.
Pic 8: Align all of the tabs on the new side vent with the slots in the fender and press into place. I pushed on the top and bottom until I heard a click and then pressed in the location of each tab until I heard the click indicating that the tab was locked into the slot.
That's it.
I personally love the look, and it took considerably less time to replace the side vents than to make this post!

I don't think it is possible. Even the dealer will tell you that they can't be salvaged. Not sure you can save them even if you remove the fender. I'm kinda disappointed because the chrome vents have not grown on me.
I don't think you can get the jag emblem off without breaking either.

If you look at the pic above that shows the backside, there are two tabs that hold it in place. You could try prying it off while holding the vent in place. You might get lucky and get it to release without breaking, but I doubt it. Try painting in place with nail polish?
