Default Console cover getting really slow to open / close

It's the non-drink holder to the right of the shift knob. You know, where the 12v accessory outlet is.

Just slightly cool weather, say in the 60's, and the thing slows to a crawl. I want to disassemble and clean it and regrease it, but don't know where to get started. Or what grease to use. Any ideas?

Update. Even in high 70's, it's still slow. Once the sun heats up the interior, then it gets reasonable. Does anybody know how to disassemble the thing?

You're still under warranty, why not let dealer fix it?

I've taken both of the lids/mechanisms/compartments apart, and the one thing I can tell you is that they're a total PITA to put back together. I remember for sure the cupholder being spring loaded and lining those metal clips back up perfectly was no fun. Best of luck, if you decide to tackle, but you might want to see the dealer.
