Got my large box of coolant pipes and hoses and most things look fine but there's one hose that looks like nothing I have despite the parts breakdown stating it's for a 2011 XF. I imagine it's an update, and now this hose includes the short connection to the water pump, not the hose from the throttle body, which incidentally I did not see on the parts breakdown so still need to buy. Is there a new part for the throttle body? The few references I've seen to throttle body part numbers of course don't show a picture or drawing.

So do I now need two simple small diamter rubber hoses for throttle body inlet and outlet? AJ812141 and c2z28432 perhaps?

 

Answered my own question.

Part AJ813565 is the new throttle body part which basically just has the plastic "Y" blanked off for the plastic pipe to the water pump. Of course it's twice the price of the old part even though it has less, not more! Also, the online parts selectors state this part is NOT for a 2011 XF even though you HAVE have this part with the updated hose C2C28467. The selector still shows AJ812141 as the correct part..................which it is not.

So stupid......................
