Couple of XF repair questions
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the Jaguar owning family, so I have a couple questions starting off:
1) How much should I set aside for repairs? I have an 09 XF SC with a clean maintenance history, but I want to make sure I have enough set aside in case anything comes up. Currently I have 3k USD saved, with around 2k-5k more coming from my older car(s) being sold. I plan to do most of the basic maintenance myself, but anything major will definitely be taken to a shop.
2) I also have the dash leather pulling problem. It's not terrible right now, though it does have some bubbling. I've ordered a dash cover for now, but am probably looking to get it replaced within the next year. I would just like some advice on how to proceed with it. I'm not too concerned with it momentarily, but I'd like to get it fixed at some point.
