Dealer says reflash due on my '11 SC

I called for my annual service and service department says my car is due for a reflash from Jag. Anyone have this done and know what it's for? Thanks.

It could be for the emissions-related reflash that a bunch of us just got a notification in the mail about. Doesn't take long at all
