Default differing tread depth left rear vs right rear OK?

My left rear tire picked up some unrepairable damage. I've only had this set of tires a few months, and the left rear is covered under road hazard, so it's being replaced as I type this.

The (existing) right rear has 8/32s of tread left. The (new) left rear tire is 10/32s. Is 2/32s difference between left/right rear OK?

This is on a '13 XFR, for what it's worth.

If it's a problem, you will know pretty quickly if the traction control acts up. But there's also extra wear on the diff since the wheels are not turning at the same speed.

It won't make any difference.
That sort of difference in wear can be normal, especially if most of the driving is done on roads with a high crown. Or if you push harder on left hand corners rather than right.
If it bothers you put the new tyre on the outside (the low side of the road).

You will be totally fine. I've never had an issue.
