Downpipe or cat back
On other sites ( BMW and Dodge and a few others) owners have left the stock exhaust and added a DP with 200 or 300 cell cats. Impressions are that the sound is great that way.
In the past I have added a DP for performance gains and am thinking the gains with a race cat and DP will be greater than the cat back and the sound may be nice at the same time.
Velocity AP has a DP and race cat that they advertise as adding 25 HP alone with no changes to the exhaust.
Anybody ever fit one?
