Default Drivers Seat

Does anyone else feel like the drivers seat squeezes your left leg more than your right? I'm not a big guy, and it's miserably uncomfortable.

After owning my 2010xf supercharged for a couple of weeks, I've realized that the seats are pretty ****. Even for a mid size sedan, I still have to basically have the seat on the floor to avoid rubbing the headliner with my head. I'm not short at 6' 3", but damn, my wife's Jetta is more comfortable.

The "R" series has the hard side bolsters. I don't have an R and I am fairly large in the derriere and the seat is very comfortable.

I think my 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 bench seat was better. Seriously, I'm 5'9" 180 lbs and I can't fit in the damn seat comfortably. Worse, they don't keep me from sliding around in corners. SMDH

Funny how different our experiences can be. I find the seats in my XFR-S (and previous XFR, basically the same seats) to be the most comfortable of any car I have ever owned, even more than the all singing, all dancing 'Multicontour' seats on my wife's previous X5. I'm just over 6'2" and about 205 lbs.

FWIW, I like my seat cushion set as low as possible and my seat back fairly upright - I do NOT like the reclined seating position that a lot of people seem to favour. I've also noticed that I like my seat closer to the pedals/wheel than many friends who are shorter than me. Maybe this has something to do with it , or maybe it's a body build/torso length/leg length thing...

SYBARITE,
I'm with you on the seat position. Drive it like you're ready to race it! My issue with the seat is really only the left (USA) side support of the driver's seat bottom. It pushes uncomfortably on my left quadricep. I have never had a seat that my ***/legs didn't fully fit into, but I can't seem to get into this one. I wonder if there is a letal structure inside of the seat that is bent inward from the previous owner sliding into the seat?
