Default extended warranty options

I have been looking for extended warranty options for an XFR (yet to buy) and have received some pricing. Ensurall has provided it and their number skyrockets 42% for year 7 (up to 150k) over year 6 (up to 125k) pricing.

Apparently their data says that the XF's have costly issues in year 7. Has anyone else checked out extended warranty options aside from CPO?

I am also in the market looking at a 2011 or 2012. I used these guys for my previous car which was an M5. No complaints!

$4785 to extend my warranty from 5/50,000 to 6/100,000 doesn't seem worth it to me. Select Certified is only $2000 from Jag for 6/100,000 if you want the extended warranty buy a used Jag from a dealer.

Just for fun I changed the mileage to 48,000 and the warranty cost increased to $6860! yikes I am going to trade in before it goes off warranty!

There dates are from the date you purchase the warranty. When I bought it on my M5 I extended it out 115K and or 5 years from the time I purchased the warranty. Not the In Service Date. Give them a call. At least thats how mine was sold to me.

They had it both ways, I just turned 17k miles so they had a warranty that went to 117,000 miles or 100,000 miles. Someone did contact me and offer me a OEM warranty based on my car having 48,000 miles an additional 5 years / 100,000 miles for $6,860 I can't imagine a situation where that would make any sense.

Its a great link you posted and I have been curious. Next time I'm at the dealer I'm going to see what they offer.
