Default Free first time maintenance?

My parents, as a wedding/paid off my mortgage present, just bought me a 2013 Jaguar XF 3.0 with 79xx miles on it. It was originally purchased on Jan 2013 by the first owner, so as of right now it has been 1.5 years since then.

Am I still eligible for the first free maintenance? It was never serviced(except an oil change at 5k miles, the "need service" warning was not resetted so this was done at an independent place).

Are you in USA? They may do the first or document it as the second service due to time lapse. I am assuming you have 4 year 50k warranty.

It's only 3 months late for its first service (they are 1 year and either 10k or 15k miles I think). Yours should prob have gone in January for its annual service. So April is certainly a bit late, but if it hasn't yet had its free service I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't give it to you.

Ask dealer to give it a thorough check-over as well - you're still well within the warranty so good to iron out anything else they spot

That's a pretty nice gift! Enjoy!

Thanks for your replies. I am trying to contact Jaguar but they are always busy.

Another question I have is, did your XF come with wheel lock key socket? I know my toyota celica had these locks for the wheels which required a special socket that came with the car.
