Love my 2012 XF and very rough ride in front suspension.

Got call from the dealer after asking them to take a look... "front left shock isolators failing".... "recommend replacement of both front struts and isolators" which will run over $2K USD.

The isolator is a $30-$50 part itself.

Welcome any opinions...
Does it make sense to get new struts while all of this is being taken apart?

buy new isolators and take it to your local mechanic to install. Should be a easy job for any mechanic or purchase used struts on eBay
