Hi all, Has anybody heard or seen problem with the XF sv8 gear selector stuck in up position when car is turned off. Error code U101B when i scan.

I also have that u101b code. Someone solved it? (2010 jaguar xf)

 

Possibly battery related?

 

 

Hi all I had to replace the gear selector unit. I comes as one complete unit that controls ignition, dsc etc. Got it off ebay on special from a dealer for about aud $200 new. Still works today about 3 years later. Unfortunately no easy fix guys.

 

Hello! Just wanted to tell you that my XF 3.0ds with fault code u0101b was a faulty gear selector.

 

I had a female spill her drink on my shifter which next morning it fried the circuit board. Order used one on eBay and work $250
