Question XF Gear selector

Hi All,

Anyone know if a face lift XF (X250 2012) Gear Selector Unit would fit a 2008 Pre-Face lift car???

Need a new one and there's plenty of face lift ones cheaper and I prefer the black look.

Part numbers are the same except for the cast 2 letters and the plugs look the same.

Any one tried it????

Well....

I can report that the face-lift gear selector does not work in the 2008 pre face-lift car.

Shows up Gear box fault, Park brake fault etc.

Worth a try as the early ones are not too common but don't waste your money.
