Default HELP!!

Hey everyone I'm new to this and wanted feedback from other jaguar enthusiasts on what I want to do next to my 2010 Jaguar XFR . My car currently has upgrades such as: Mina Gallery exhaust, Mina Gallery Pulley, Mina Gallery Intake and K&N filters. This car needs a tune but here in Los Angeles is hard trying to find a shop who performs tunes. What I really want to do is take my Jaguar to another level that no one has seen before . I want to make my Car 1000 horsepower but not sure if I'm going to need to swap motors or anything I can do to get those numbers with what I have already

1000hp out of an XFR - spend $30k on a 1000hp Mopar crate engine and work out how to fit it up front. I guarantee that will be cheaper than trying to get the same horsepower out of the engine you (we) have. Then you've just got the transmission, driveshaft, and diff to replace, because they're not going to stand up to that sort of power. Oh, and the halfshafts. You're way into the realm of custom manufactured things there, and then at that point it resets to the default of "Just buy a car with high 800s horsepower from the factory, there's a few to choose from" because that route is always easier, cheaper, and more reliable.

Or, rather than setting arbitrary random unachievable horsepower numbers as targets that makes for little more than impressing people in bars, you could instead ask: "If I want to keep my car and get maximum power out of it, what mods should I be looking at?". I'd be looking at uprated chargecooler from Allisport, Eurotoys or similar lower pulley, full Ardent exhaust (which you'll likely have to swap back for smog), and a good tune. You won't be anywhere near 1000hp of course, but it's probably the easiest and cheapest route to getting the largest practical amount of remaining horses out of your engine without some serious engine work, which starts getting really expensive.

I don't want to **** on your bonfire, but car forums of every marque often get people with big dreams of crazy horsepower out of their existing cars, but they a) never have the budget required and b) never like the eventual answer, which is always "You basically need to buy a car that is closer to the power you want as standard", because it's always the cheaper, easier, and more reliable way of getting that power.

LOL, 1000hp = Custom 1/2 shafts, new diff, custom drive shaft, built trans and torque converter. Block is probably only good for 800hp max, crank and pistons maybe 700hp, no more displacement can be had from the AJ5.0, so your 1000hp will have to come from boost (I can already see the carnage from a lifted head, and good luck finding a blower that will fit the AJ, big enough to boost to 1000hp), but to get too 1000hp the fuel system will be the major hurdle, and you can forget passing smog here in CA ever. That said CA is probably the tuning capital of the Jag world, myself (Riverside) and Kyanite (Anaheim) both run local tunes from what was Jailbreak tuning and love them, there is more power to be had from the AJ, you just have to be smart and bounce around the forums to find it.
Nice rims.

That is one beautiful car. Love the wheels. As the others have said, the car isn't designed to handle 1000hp. Be happy with what you have. Remember, "YOU PLAY...YOU PAY".
