Lightbulb Help with battery

Hi, im having issues with my 2009 XFR, and im hoping to get some help.
Sometimes when I start my car, it struggles to start. I then occasionally get warning messages coming up, "gearbox fault", "E-diff not available", "Active dynamics not available".
Am I correct in assuming that this can be caused by a faulty battery?
A friend of mine said to replace the battery and it should be ok.
I have attached a picture of the battery that is currently in my car. I have looked on Eurocar parts, but theres a few to choose from, and im not sure what one will be suitable for my car.
I have also put a link to Eurocar parts with a battery i was thinking of getting. Can anyone please let me know if this is the right one for my car.

Thanks

Look in your owners manual and get the correct size battery.
Nothing to involved.

Yes. Symptoms sound spot on for battery. That's an OEM Jag battery. Wonder when it was last replaced...

Standard H8 size should be right. Check in manual. Easy to buy and easy to fit. AGM type

You may find the retaining bolt which screws through the floor plan is rusted. I have a post on that if you run into problems

Don't go to dealer. 2x the price.

You’ll probably want access to a scan tool to check the Battery Management.
#1, Make sure the system is expecting an AGM. Your ‘09 may be expecting a “flooded” like mine.
#2, Resetting the battery count will allow the system to fully charge and maintain the new battery.

Mine does the same when the battery is dying.

Its probably the same as the battery in my 2008 SV8, which is a 019 size. I usually get them online from https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/types/019/ or https://advancedbatterysupplies.co.uk/product-tag/019/.
Once you've got the clamp loose you kind of have to wiggle 25KG of battery out of the cramped space they put it in, be careful putting it back not to trap the BMS wires or your fingers between it and the boot.
