Help -- Infotainment/Touch Screen Won't Display
I have a 2010 XF with 67,000 miles.
All of a sudden, the touch screen won't display. It just shows Jaguar and the leaper logo. This has happened before and re-starting the engine restored normal operation -- but not this time. I can't see what the temperature settings are but I can change the blower speed. The radio doesn't play at all. The reverse camera doesn't display. I tried the on-off button for the display and held the button for over 10 seconds to no avail. The car is always garaged and infrequently exposed to rain so a wet module is not the problem.
Does anyone know of a procedure to reset the infotainment system?
Thanks, in advance.

I don't have a USB stick in there.
However, the problem is now resolved. My wife read on some other Jaguar forum that there are two things that can be done to "reset" the infotainment screen. The first one is to lock the car (we don't lock it as the car sits in the garage) for 10 minutes or more and if that doesn't work, disconnect the battery for at least half an hour. We did the first one and that worked.
