Default How to identify supercharged?

Hi All,
Say the rear supercharged badge was removed from an XF S. Other than the checkered flag, what is the best way to identify that is indeed a supercharged?

I believe the supercharged (2010-2011) is the only model that has the 20" Selena style rims stock. Other than that I guess you would have to look under the hood.

The only thing to add to that is the "supercharged" on the speedometer.

Also, the '09 SC is the only model with the 20" Volans but of course wheel can be swapped out. Of course, if you look under the hood, the engine looks different.

Quad Exhaust tips are on the SC's -- also, I think the VIN's for the SC's are different. I forget off the top of my head, but when I was buying I noticed that the SC's, Luxury and Premiums had a different VIN.

No "Supercharged" on the '09 speedometer.

Are you looking to take your SC badge off?

I don't know if it's true of SC in general, but my 09 SC has chrome side vents and chrome sideview mirror housings, so a little shinier.

Those are dealer/owner add-ons for any model.

I had a 09 XF Supercharged as a loaner a couple of weeks ago and without the rear badge it was identical to my 09 XF. I think the 09 Supercharged it is the perfect stealth/sleeper vehicle with or without the badge. Really, wish I could've found one when I was in the market for a 09 XF.

Look at the back end of an XF. If it's rapidly fading from view, it's probably supercharged.

The NJ-NY F1 race is scheduled for 2013 and the construction is well on its way, so it should be on schedule. The Austin F1 race at Circuit of Americas is scheduled for Nov 2012 but heard that is behind schedule. Let's wait and see...
