Hello,

I have an 09 XF SC with 43000 miles. Hot and, cold air has ceased blowing from the dash vent position. Both hot and cold blow from the feet and defrost no problem. I am assuming this is a diverter motor or stepper motor gone bad. Does anyone know how you access the motor that diverts to the dash vents? I can't seem to find online where it is even located.

Do you know about the DCCV?

Read up a bit and that probably is at least one of your problems. Be aware if not repaired the DCCV can with time damage the climate control module as well, adding expense to the repair.

Thanks for your response. I am not familiar with the DCCV. Looking around online I see many references to it on the S-type. Is this part still on the x250? I'm not finding a part number or price anywhere. Perhaps I am not looking in the right places.
