Indicators no longer make sound.

Indicators no longer make sound.
Copied from the XK forum, but exactly the issue I am having with my 2012 XF
"About a week ago, my turn signal went from making the usual ticking noise when operated to sounding more like a maraca. At the same time the 'no seat belt' warning sound became buzzy too (the one that occurs if you pop your seatbelt before turning off the engine). Fast forward to a couple of days ago and whatever makes the noise has given in completely - there is no noise at all when indicating, or from the seat belt warning."
I also have the issue that the flick function on the indicator stalk (which gives three flashes then stops) also no longer works, and I understand from the other thread that the 'Faulty park brake' sound no longer works.
Does anyone have experience of the fix or have any idea of the cost to sort it? I can live without the sound but I am concerned about forgetting to cancel the indicators after changing lanes.
