Default Jaguar R Grill Badge $126??

So I went to my local dealership with the intention of buying the R badge for the grill of my XFR as Jaguar didn't start putting a grill badge on until 2012, and the parts department told me the badge would be $126?? That is absolutely absurd. I can find the stick on badge for the trunk all over the place online, but can't find the grill badge with the extra brackets at all! Does anybody know where I'd be able to find one at a reasonable price?

Default they are out there much cheaper

They are all over ebay and aliexpress for <$10. 13 for grille and trunk emblems together. https://www.aliexpress.com/popular/jaguar-emblem.html

Or actual factory badge for 60.00 which seems awfully high for what it is.

I paid around $53 for section 9 which included the S badge and the retaining clip. Don't know why the R badge would be that much more. It is essentially the same concept. The ebay stuff gets delaminated and fades fairly quick. If you dont mind replacing them every year, that would be a way to go.

The problem with the ebay stuff is that they only offer the badge. The parts I am having trouble finding are the mounting brackets (parts #4 #5 and #6).

Unless I'm mistaken, Jaguar part number C2D31237 contains all 3 parts in the bag.

Hatfields in the UK is a Jaguar parts dealer, I have bought items from them in the past and the are genuine oem parts. Looks like they have C2D31237 as well, for about $40.

I agree with what Cherry_560sel mentioned about the quality from China. If you need a real badge, $40 isn't so steep.

Yes $40 is much better, however, the link you gave is for the newer circular style badge. I need the older rectangular badge. That seller does not appear to offer the older style. Do you know where I'd be able to find the older style badge or the part number for the rectangular badge?

I bought a cheap but good eBay badge over 3 years ago. I filled the entire thing with 3M moulding tape and stuck it on. Made sure to drive it and park it in the sun after to make sure the adhesive was able to take a strong bond. Still there and looks perfect. I think I spent $15 for everything and still have a ton of the tape left if I ever feel the need to reapply.
