I am looking for the new version of Navigation 2010-2011 for my 2009 XF /SC ..is there any sort of group buy going on which I can get in .. or is there any torrent link any one car provide me from where I can download ... I need for North American / Canada

 

How do I actually install the maps onto the system? I'm still waiting for the delivery of owners manuals but got some map discs in the mail today from ebay. I'm going to assume i put them in the CD player and it prompts from there? Anyone done this before? Lemmeno!

you should check the manual come with tht navigation DVD it should tell you how to update your maps ... wht version ur Navigation DVD is ... 2010-2011 or earlier ??

 

The DVD installs in the Nav system unit located in the trunk (boot). You must follow the instructions in the owner manual. The 2010-2011 disc is the latest.
CAUTION; when this disc is installed, it will update the Nav system software to correct an error for 2009 and 2010 vehicles. It takes about 10 minutes to do this if I remember correctly.

 

Where did you obtain the disk from.. I think it would help my 2010 since mines is a early 2010..

 

I bought it from my new replacement dealer who sold it to me for $190 because I am now 90 miles away from him. You can also buy it from Navteq for $199.

P.S. If your menu screen has a "cancel guidance" command in the lower right side of the screen, you probably have the Nav software update. Then check the Nav unit disk to see if it's a 2010-2011 version before ordering a new disk

Now I have the original DVD yet still no Fiona. When I push the button for spoken directions and turn the volume up only the music gets louder.

I already did a reset. Didn’t change anything either. What do I need to do?

Could you furnish the Mfg no. for that 2010-2011 set.

 

Sorry, I just looked at the disc case and discovered that I had purchased the 2009/2010 versions that also fixed the software problem. Bad memory. Anyway, any Jag dealer should be able to give you the Jag or Denso part number for the 2010/2011 discs.

 

There is a 2011-2012 Nav disk available, (see recent thread).

 

Looks like the 2011-12 disc are available through Navteq. My question is, can you buy these anywhere else? $200!??? Yeah right..
