I'm surprised that these cars are driven across the country in open trailers.

 

I think possibly this shipment was left clean for the camera. Cars I've seen arriving at dealers seem to be covered with a shipping wax. Wheels are usually covered and so on. All this is removed only at the dealerships during PDI.

 

Agreed, I haven't seen any Jaguars begin unloaded from the trucks, so I can't be sure, but all other foreign cars seem to arrive at the dealers wrapped in white plastic with cutouts just large enough for the driver to see out of.
