I bought the Philips DRL8s a while ago and haven't much time to look but any recommendations on someone who could install them? I'm hoplesss with that stuff so I'm not even going to try, my Indie is very busy and I'd rather get someone who used to doing more electric stuff.. you guys have any suggestions in the LA area or SFV?

 

This is probably too late to be of use to you, but may be helpful to another forum member. I, too, wanted DRLs on my 2005 XKR. After doing a little research, I found out that all XKRs for the North American market had DRL capability built in, because they are REQUIRED in Canada. I took my car to a local Jaguar dealer and, for $100, they re-programmed the lights to be "Canadian". Now I have the automatic headlight switch turned "on" at all times. The DRLs are on during the day and the regular headlights are on at night. When I turn off the ignition, the lights automatically turn off, too.
