So my rear parking lights stayed on over night and at work the other day. Did some research online and narrowed it down to my control switch for my lights. Ordered a used one and installed it in about 10-15 minutes tonight in the dark. Noticed mine looks newer so I opened the broke one to see if I can salvage the control stick. Well low and behold, lied my problem as well as many other XF whippers as well, lol. A green electrical wire in the module was snapped looks as if it got got under a groove in the module and broke. Any who, I found a work around to help my lights fully turn off until I replaced the part. 1) Make sure your lights are off and your RH turn is on while your car is turned off. 2) While driving make sure your lights are on the always on position. My lights would turn off if I made a right turn while the lights were in the auto on position.
