Lionhart three tire review
Did a quick review in my wheel thread but thought a separate one would be better.
Ok I have put about 600 miles on these tires and so far I am real happy with them. Total cost of the tires (2 255-35r20 and 2 285-30r20) was only $435 shipped to my door, so obviously price is a huge plus. Tires are an ultra high performance all season tread which for the north east was also something I was looking for. Moving from a set of hankook v12's to the lionhart while having the same size printed on them the lionharts are a bit wider and taller which I also am happy with.
I have put them through the paces, (highway, aggressive street and commute) in each they handled very well as well as quite on the road. So in my initial opinion these are a excellent value for a daily driver. I will also update as I put more miles on them.
Sizes I have
255-35-r20
285-30-r20

While I will say fuel economy has never been a huge concern of mine I have averaged 19.4 mpg to and from my office and this morning was the same with the new tires. Also at the price point the Lionhart tires which are 500-800 per set cheaper for an all season you can buy a lot of gas for the spread on the price.
If tires last 25k miles the mpg would have to drop by more than 11% for them to break even with even the next cheapest all season tire and I do not expect a tire to cause a loss of mpg by that %.
