Hi, New to posting here. I have a 2010 XF (4.2l not the 5) and I like it - really. I looked at replacing it for the latest a few years running and I truly just love this car.

I recently took it into the dealer for service and apart from the usual fluids and checks they came back with:

They want $2,549 for the work. Since I'm no longer under warranty, I thought I should have someone else look at the car and if it's in need of repair then at least a competitive cost.

Anyone out there been through these repairs or have a qualified mechanic to recommend in/around Miami, FL?

That's all really basic suspension stuff that any good shop can handle and there's nothing specific to being a Jaguar. The rear links may just have the boots torn but they may still be good for a while before really needing replacement. Have an independent shop confirm.

Now that Gables Cats is out of business, I use Erich's Car Care, 305 633 8222 for my Jag repairs.
