The 2011 XFR is in for niggling items for service at 6500 miles

Windshield wiper motor is making some fierce noise
Exhaust pipes left to right stick out differently by an inch
Get Passive arming turned on
Get Voice turned on
Curb rash on wheel
K098 TSB

Hopefully this will all be done under warranty.

Tech also said that the Global Up does not operate from the fob. Does anyone's Global Up work from their fob??

 

The global fob up does not work on my car either. I asked the dealer and they told me that the US cars do not have that feature. Only the European cars have it.

 

Yeah, but the funny thing is that the Global Down works from the fob. Go figure. You would think........

 

Apparently Europeans are stil wary of US litigation lawyers. Probably with good reason. Canadian cars are the same even though our lawyers are tamed.

My NA spec Audi has this feature locked away in it's software which I have activated. If you can find a dealer wiling to do this the same is true of Jaguar, it is in there ready to be activated if you have the code.

 

As I left the car off I said something about the amount of noise that the windshield wiper motor made. Well, they haven't found THAT problem yet and the car will be another day (hopefully, but I'm not holding my breath).
