My confusion re 12 XF/XFR
def not standard, and I def would not spend all that money just to get a s/c vented hood. It might be possible that the car got into an accident and had the body shop quote a s/c hood to the insurance company?
Possible and still somewhat of a mystery.......All front end parts have original vin numbers...Strange.
It is possible that the past owner had the hood cut for the s/C vent though, that's a cheaper way to do it.
The sticker on the car is almost $65 the way it was optioned...
Hi XKGuy, I own a 2012 jaguar XF. I'm sure that it is a normal XF which is the base or portfolio. The supercharged version have a badge that says "supercharged" on the right of the rear. I guess they modify the hood and the supercharged have quad exhaust. Normal xf doesnt have vented hood but might have the XF sport bodykit like the one you showed us (not the XFR, the front is different).
2012 XF Portfolio cannot? Correct
I can't remember off the top of my head if the 12's have the old smart key style or not. Old smart key style is the fob with two chrome side blades at each side and the emergency key inserted at one end. New key style is one chrome side blade which houses the emergency key. What is the reason why you are asking? About the reprogramming in particular.
