Default Need some help. Can steering wheel tilt up out of way on exit?

Guys,

I was used to several automatic action on exit with my 2008 Vette. When I exited the seat would move back out of way and wheel would pull back all to allow easy access and eventual reentry.

I don't see these features on the XFR. Am I missing something on how to achieve this or does the car not do that?

While I have not done this in my wife's XF, in both my XK and XJL I programmed memory1 with my preferences and program memory3 to move the seat back and the steering wheel up. As I exit I simply press memory3, when I enter it is memory1.

Sounds like a good workaround, thanks. I was hoping I was just missing the screen that would allow such behavior. Surprised the car doesn't have this feature.

When you open the driver's door to get out, the wheel moves all the way forward and all the way up. When you turn on the ignition (motor running or not) the wheel moves to your preset position. The seat does not move at exit or entrance.

Where does that get setup?

There is a ring around the joystick that should have an "automatic/manual" setting.

Turn to auto and it should rise up and in when you shut the car off and open the door.

Not sure if you know, the front windows are water repellent.

You should have soft close function on the trunk, just bring it down to the latch and it will close automatically.

Your car being an XFR, the headlamps feature Intelligent High Beam and self leveling. The projectors turn with the steering wheel once the headlamps are on.

Just a few things I remember on top of my head. If you have any specific questions, just ask.
