Default Oil change

Agreed, buying from the UK isn't a viable option.
I was going to buy enough oil for 2 changes if the UK price was acceptable.
I haven't spoken with my local dealer, I might have oil changes still covered with just 15K miles on a Certified vehicle. My Lincoln did up to 36K.

Not to pirate this thread, but my dash info states I am due for a service in another 1854 miles??? Seems like an odd amount of mileage. This is what happens not knowing a car's history.

OzXFR - I'm sure any 0W-20 fully synthetI should work, as long as I receive verification of that from Jaguar corporate. The last thing I care to do is run the risk of compromising my 100K warranty.
Regarding oil brands, I've seen tribology reports of Mobil 1 showing galling of the metal contact surfaces with testing. Royal Purple is exceptional, Castrol is nearly as good. I'll PM the link if I can find it.
