Hi!

I am considering purchasing a pre-owned XF SV8 imported from Japan. It has 158K on it but looks brand new inside, in the boot and under the hood.

Unfortunately, it comes with no service records so I can't view the service history on the vehicle nor does it come with a set of owners manuals.

I like the car very much and test drove it. It was the most exhilarating experience I've ever had behind the wheel of a V8.

My concern is the cost of repairs and maintenance and tyres replacement.

Does anyone have any advice for me here?
