Default Not buying another XF

Just learned that only 4 cylinder engines will be offered in the new XF, with a max 295 HP. That's not acceptable to me.

A car like a Jaguar XF will never be sufficiently refined with such a small motor, even in hybrid form.

Plus, I've read that the I6 in the Range Rover is isn't very smooth, nor does it sound good.

He loved to drive his Jaguar...

So welcome to the machine

Indeed, 4 cylinder portends a slow death....or not so slow, for the XF. Too bad, XF is one of the best Jaguar values ever. Absolutely love my '16 XF. Though short on peak HP vs my old S type R, the XF's performance is very satisfying. Ran it through a JCNA slalom recently in the "sport" mode and was pleasantly surprised with the overall performance, especially running on so so tires. Can only imagine how the XF-S would have taken to the cones.
