Default OE witness dash cam install

Hi
I’m relatively new here, and not long purchased my 2013 XF ,and I’m trying to install the OEM OE witness forward dash cam, the camera installation is quite easy, and the wiring install down the A pillar went ok, but the 3 wires that connect into the internal fuse box are what I’m having trouble with, the yellow wire is piggy backed onto the sunroof (which I don’t have) a permanent live feed, the earth connected onto the 10mm nut just above the fuse box but the red wire has to piggy back onto a dead output when the car is disabled ? and I wondered if anyone has had any experience of this installation, as I don’t want to blow anything, any help would be appreciated

cheers

Up inside the interior light there is a multiplug which has live, ignition & earth, this plug is for the garage opener, but has everything you need for your camera!

Hi
thanks for that John I will check that out, I have heard of that location but thought I’d stick to the manufacture instructions, but unfortunately I don’t have any spare fuse locations that are wired
