Default Dash cam wiring

Want to wire a dash cam, I have a Halfords trade card so getting a good discount on one, power options are the cig/12v output or hardwired kit to a fuse, problem is where do I tap into a fuse , is there a spare one, mine is a 2018 2.0, I suppose fuses are the same on current models no matter about engine type.Older cars might have the fuses in a different locations. Any picture of anyone doing the fuse option would be great or locating a spare fuse. Thanks

I wired mine with what is called a "add a circuit"
Our cars use mini fuses and there is a model for that.
You might even get one in your kit.
