Default Fuse 19

I want to pull that #19 fuse but I don't know where it is located. The diagrams and descriptions of fuse locations have been sketchy at best. I've had a hard time with any consistency in fuse function and location in my 2004 XKR convertible portfolio car. You would think that all fuse locations would be the same from 1997 through 2006. But, in searching for the power seat fuse, I had multiple amps and fuse locations for 2001 through 2004. Further, why don't the fuse diagrams match the fuse boxes? The drivers dash fuse box has 18 fuse positions, nine on each side. why not show them that way? instead of a linear numbering plan showing 1-12 and 13-18. This is probably not sid well but you get the drift!!

Are they not shown as you want in the car handbook (as they are for my car)?

I read somewhere that if you remove fuse 19 you get a great exhaust sound from the XKR motors. I have a portfolio car so I don't know if the fuse boxes have been rearranged due to the Recaro seats. Has anyone removed this fuse and where is it located?
Thanks
John

There are two Fuses No 19. The one in the engine compartment fuse box is for the righthand headlight - dip beam if not HID, the main beam if HIDs fitted.

The one in the trunk fuse box is for the righthand tail lamp and the license plate lights.

Note that all the fuse positions are numbered in the fuse boxes, beside each fuse. You need good light and eyesight or a magnifier, but they're there!

Doesn't seem like your info about the exhaust is applicable to your car. I've never heard of a standard X100 XKR having a switchable exhaust.

Yep, that fuse is for the X150, the XK model after ours.
