Default OEM Wheels and tire size on a 2015 XF Sport

I have aftermarket wheels on my newly purchased 2015 XF Sport (X250) that are currently 20". I am not thrilled with them. I live in Atlanta which is a haven for potholes. All I'm finding online are articles saying that they were an 18 inch from the factory. I've looked through the manual to confirm but no mention of wheel size. Were these a staggered setup from the factory or a single size for the sport/portfolio? I really don't want to mess up the purchase of a new set so any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Anything I should be aware of? Thanks.

I've found some I like which are a 19x8, with a +48mm Offset and a 5X108mm bolt pattern. I'd put on 245/40/19's all around. Do you think that's going to work for the XF Sport AWD? I'd really appreciate any answers. Thanks.

Look at car-part.com. Should show the many factory wheels available.

With AWD you need to be very careful changing wheels from factory, the resulting measurements have to match exactly all around or the transfer case will get wrecked. Add staggered setups to this and it becomes very complicated. And this all having to fit the wheel clearing over any large rotors.

I went from 20" all the way to 18" in order to get a marginal improvement, I don't think 19" would matter much. What made more difference is swapping the struts for S-Type spec and now it's evened out but still not as 'luxury' as it should be. The biggest improvement to downsizing is just to avoid bending rims over and over.

Consider just swapping for a different car fit for purpose. The XF is a sport sedan and will never ride as well as you think it should.
