Default Alloy Wheels Jaguar XF X260

Beers to all. Does someone knows which is the maximum alloy wheels size for the Jaguar XF X260 (2015 and later models)? I think that is 20'' but can 21'' be assembled and still be legal to drive the car? Thanks to all.

20" are it I think - anything above I think you need a lift kit?? Tirerack.com is a good resource for what will fit.

You could prob do 21inch with less sidewall so overall diameter is the same. But ride quality wouldn't be great. I've seen 22s on the X250 XF but think it has issues with rubbing.

I have the optional 19 inch alloys on my 2016 XF AWD Prestige. Personally, I wouldn't want a bigger size tire--makes ride too rough even given great suspension of the XF. Your call.

My car was supplied with 20" rims. I was told this was the largest they fitted, not that I wanted larger diameter rims. However I can confirm that with 20" rims the ride is quite rough at times, but never unbearable. I would not want rims that were larger. I have even contemplated fitting 19" rims but I would then lose the rather nice alloy wheels that are fitted and have to substitute something not quite as nice looking at some not inconsiderable cost. So I put up with it!!

The handling is excellent BTW and better than the car I test drove with 19" wheels. So there are benefits (lower profile tires on the larger rims) even if there are ride compromises. However I suspect the real reason for larger rims is appearance which is fine if that is what you want but, on normal roads, the improved handling from the larger rims will probably make little to no difference to the average driver.
