Default Over rev possible in dynamic mode?

Obviously you don't want to test this idea but there's a rumour that the downshift inhibitor is also disabled in Dynamic mode. So, the engine will run to a soft rpm limiter when accelerating but there would be nothing to stop a driver from downshifting at too high a speed.

Anyone actually know whether the downshift inhibitor is still active or not when Dynamic Mode/Sport/ paddle selection is active?

The transmission will still kick down automatically regardless of gear selected and will still downshift if rpm drop too low but will it refuse to shift into too low a gear as it will when not in Dynamic Mode? (jaguar's statement in the owners handbook that full control of gear selection is up to the driver is incorrect technically, but how incorrect?).

It seems ridiculous to even have to ask this question but there you go, I just did.

Having driven my car on the track multiple times and also driving in the canyons quite often, I can assure you that the car will not downshift into an overrev condition.

Edit: Here is a video of the car in Dynamic with DSC completely off and my using the paddles to shift.
