Hi. While doing my pads the other day, I had a nightmare with that anti rattle spring/bracket thing. I now know to leave the caliper in one piece when doing the pads...

but anyway, I lost one of these. The little bendy metal/fibreglass bit that goes between the anti rattle spring/clip and the caliper.

I looked at a few diagrams online and couldn't find anything.

I'm considering trying to make something but I'm not sure where to buy bendy fibreglass-lined aluminium..

Does anybody know of a part number? It's just slightly bugging me that something isn't quite 100% right.

I hear you... those are a pain, and I'm always having to move them around during install.

 

I think I'm just going to make one. Just trying to decide between aluminium and tin..
